This weekend’s Beastwear NICL live-streamed games will be hosted by Sportsworld Liverpool in the NSW Metro zone.

In the men’s match of the round, the Liverpool Bulls will take on the Spinal & Sports Care Cougars in what is shaping up as season defining game for both clubs as they edge closer to their finals campaigns.

The last time these two met was in Round 2, when it was the Bulls who came away with a comfortable win.

The Cougars are coming off a bye and are currently sitting in third place behind the Bulls with a game in hand, remarkably with only one win from five games they have regularly claimed two or more skins in each game to remain a strong finals contender.

Wade Burrowes, current NSW Blues player and former indoor cricket junior international representative, as well as captain Kristian Messia, will be two to watch for the Cougars.

Liverpool Bulls had a comprehensive win against Hills Tigers which put them 6-points clear from each of the next three teams who are tied on 14 points. A win this weekend will set them up nicely for the finals as we near towards the end of round games.

Bulls captain Brett Collison is fresh off his recent Masters campaign for NSW Blues and will be looking to guide last year’s semi finalist to a strong showing.

Macarthur Raptors and Penrith Storm will go head-to-head for the first time this season in the women’s division.

The Raptors feature a handful of representative indoor and outdoor cricketers including current Australian Aboriginal XI member Haylee Hoffmeister, who has recently returned from a UK tour, as well as current NSW U18 outdoor squad members Angela Genford and Jade Errington.

Penrith Storm boast an experienced line-up and will be hoping for strong performances from Australian 21 & Under Women’s indoor representative and captain Sam Arnold, as well as Sydney Thunder WBBL star Naomi Stalenberg.
